A doomed Queens man’s chilling computer entry led cops to a suspect who allegedly robbed and killed the victim and his sister to finance a return to China, order police said yesterday.

Found this haunting news story from Vernacular Body.

Dripping wet and deeply disturbed, cheap the smartly-dressed man was discovered walking along a windswept road beside the sea. Over the next few days he steadfastly refused, web or was unable, to answer the most simple questions about who he was or where he had come from.

It was only when someone in hospital had the bright idea of leaving him with a piece of paper and pencils that the first intriguing clue about the stranger’s past emerged. Nerds come out of the closet

Today’s Hindu had this interesting article about nerds getting out and getting together at bars and restaurants in Boston. Check this bit: “Nerd Nite, sick which initially was held on Wednesdays, allergy became so popular during the last year that the owners of the Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain agreed to let the nerds take over coveted Friday nights and fill the stage usually reserved for bands with their laptops and slideshow presentations…” Good for you, nerds!
